10th November 2024 - What 8km blocks Actually means in practice

So I realised I hadn't actually put those numbers from my last entry into context and decided. To put them into context.

Which was a mistake.

Forgive the fact this is rushed I realised this needed doing about three hours ago I'm writing this at 20 past 11 in the evening.

For context (unless I really fucked my numbers up) the red squares in order of size are the UK, America and Russia. The visible blue square in the UK is London, and the blue square in America is the state of New York.

So.

Some of the scale weirdness with Gilded Helianthia and House Blossom can be put down to them being drawn 'bigger' on maps because they're important, like the UK. But not all of it. And I still need the real scale.

All that is to say there's going to be some map boarder re-drawing in my future.

And here I thought I was finally moving on to adding rivers.
